APGA Inaugurates Grassroots Solidarity Forum For Electoral Victory In 2015

he All Progressives’ Grand Alliance, APGA, ahead of the 2015 general elections, inaugurated the APGA Solidarity Forum, ASF, to commence grassroots socio-economic and political development of the various communities in Anambra State and the country at large.



Addressing the party faithful that converged on Awka for the occasion on Saturday, the national chairman of the party, Victor Umeh, said the APGA would obtain a resounding victory in the upcoming election.

APGA solidarity forum was formally inaugurated and urged by the state chairman of the party, Mr Mike Kwentoh, to remain loyal to the parent body and work hard to spread across the country.

Also, the new president of the group, Mr Ebele Okafor, reminded his colleagues in the group that hard work and determination were the ground rules.

In attendance to the occasion were the deputy governor, Dr. Nkem Okeke, who represented the governor, Willie Obiano, immediate past deputy governor, Mr Emeka Sibeudu, the son of the late party leader, Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Jnr, and a host of other party stalwarts.

The party which in the last general elections lost the whole senatorial seats to the Peoples Democratic Party and the Action Congress now All Progressives Congress respectively, hopes that with the new political strategy of early mobilisation from the grassroots, the party, which is currently controlling only one state would have more states and many more representatives in the coming election.
